INTJ Fall Fashion 1940s Style Update

I love a 1940’s inspired look. Today’s INTJ Fall Fashion 1940s Style Update goes beyond simply looking collegiate and inspired by the 40’s era, it is also a study in layering, a fall fashion necessity.

Layering can make something simple look more put together. It also has the added benefit of keeping you warmer in chilly weather. On the other hand, layering can also add bulk, so it’s important to layer in a smart way. For example, this shirt, which we’ve used before in our spring transition look, comes with an attached tie; this is a thin layer that doesn’t add much additional bulk, but gives the eye the impression of depth. Adding a vest on top for a warmer layer furthers this aim and keeps the look simple and not overly bulky. Another way to cheat layering without getting too bulky is to use asymmetry. The skirt in this look has an asymmetrical hem that gives the impression of multiple lengths and therefore layers. The longer length, of course, keeps you warmer, and the asymmetry adds to the overall look.

Oh For Fashion’s Sake!
