Happy Monday, Always Uttori Femme Dangels. Is it just me, or does November seem to be flying by?
While we use the holidays as time to reflect, it is also a good time to practice living in the moment, a state of mind that can be difficult for INTJs achieve, though not unattainable. Our extroverted sensing, the “in the moment” mindset, is our inferior function, which makes it difficult to access. I find it easier to be in the moment when communing with nature, something I do a lot of when taking pictures for the blog. This fall, I’ve spent more time enjoying the beautiful colors, which seem to have lasted longer than usual because of the unseasonably warm weather here in the Midwest. In Minnesota, I have access to more nature settings than I do urban ones, so I’ve enjoyed getting to highlight, for the blog, all the natural beauty that surrounds me. As for the featured look, the fall colors act as a perfect backdrop to this going out fall-i-day look.
Again, in the spirit of reflection, when scouting around for locations, I remembered this lovely spot right in front of my old high school. Granted, high school wasn’t necessarily my favorite time in life, but I appreciated returning to this spot and reflecting on the changes that have taken place in my life since graduating. This return allowed me to look with new eyes at a stage in my life that many INTJs find difficult – that stage where you are cautiously moving toward independence. In an odd way, it was a timely trip, as I’ve recently found out that I’ve been accepted into a graduate program in Hong Kong. I’ll make a more official announcement later, but I will say that the femme dangel featured in these photos has much to be thankful for. I plan to spend the coming holiday season reflecting on those blessings.
