INTJ Playlist #22: INTJ Female and Proud
It’s been a hot minute since we did an INTJ music playlist, but the playlists haven’t been forgotten! We’ve been busy working behind the scenes on a lot of awesome content, which I will be sharing soon. As summer winds its way to an end over the next few weeks, it’s hard not to be reminded of the many responsibilities that come as part and parcel of a return to the shorter, cooler days of fall. It can be a lot of pressure. There are times you need a pick-me-up just to make it through the day, so we’re bringing back the playlists. To start, we will return to our favorite theme, INTJ Female and Proud! Scroll for the songs, or click here for the full playlist.
I Don’t Want To Be- Gavin DeGraw
Gavin Degraw’s “I Don’t Want to Be” is an oldie but a goodie. As the lyrics say, “Part of where I’m going is knowing where I’m coming from.” Just as in our Midnight Train editorial, this is a song that highlights accepting that we are all on a journey to self. Much of the fear we experience when we are on the midnight train comes from not knowing who we are and having no idea how to get to where we wish to be. Yet, when you know where you’re coming from, that in itself can be a guide to your destination or a path to avoid. Accepting the being that you are, the way your brain works, those things that have shaped you, is a often a hard-fought battle for many INTJs. Self-acceptance can be a hard road, but discovering we are INTJs helps a lot on the path to being totally fine with how we are.
Can’t Pin me Down- Marina and the Diamonds
INTJs females are hard to define. Often paradoxical in their interests, INTJs are better for the contradictions. It’s what makes us who we are.
Everybody else gets wet- Delorentos
INTJs like to observe first and act after they know what to expect. Sometimes it feels like we don’t have as much fun, but when we find people who can accept us as we are, nothing is better.
Something for your M.I.N.D.- Superorganism
For when you’re mistaken for a sociopath yet again, and you just crave something for your mind instead of the endless monotony of consumerism. Or life in general.
Human- Rag’n’Bone Man
Don’t forget, INTJs we may be, but we are still human.
