Welcome to a new age, and a new punk. We’re continuing to contrast romantic and punk spring transition fashion with today’s Girly Punk look. In comparison to the romantic look from Monday, this girl punk look is light, bright, and flirty, it’s not your typical punk. Typically, punk is supposed to be rebellious, dark, distressed; but that doesn’t have to be the case. You can be girly punk. If the spirit of punk is about rebellion, this outfit has fashion rebel covered, just in a more girly way:
- Clashing Patterns
- Black Slogan Chunky Boots
- Rock-n-roll Choker
- Flirty A-line skirt
- Soft pink moto jacket
Finish out the good girl gone punk with quirky girl hair, and you’ve got pink, but not too sweet; flirty florals in a battle of the roses, dark accents, and enough edge to call yourself a punk (even if the real punks don’t buy it). Throw in the chunky boots, and there are no girly girls here. Side note: on Monday we talked about March being a transitional period for winter and spring fashion. These pictures illustrate just how up and down spring weather can be in some parts of the country. Usually, we shoot photos months ahead, we decided to do a restyle and re-shoot of these pictures just a couple of days ago. We’ve been waiting for a bit of warmth, but we didn’t get it. Instead, we got more snow. Ah, March, you conflicted month!
