Happy 2017 everyone! What better way to start 2017 off than talking about introversion and fashion? When we hear introvert, we often think of bookish, nerdy, unfashionable people, who wear frumpy clothing and look like librarians. Not the case. Introverts are a diverse bunch, in fact, according to psychologist Johnathan Creek, there are four types of introverts: social, thinking, anxious, and restrained (you can read more about it here). So, no, introversion does not mean we are all the same. If we’re not all the same, then, we are not all rocking the librarian look (nothing against librarians). Today’s look, as well others that I will be sharing this month, are what I like to call cozy couture. Cozy couture is about looking great while embracing our introvert nature and keeping it cozy. For me, winter is the best cozy couture season since the cold weather makes layering a necessity. Plus, we get to wear soft fuzzy fabrics. Ultimately, cozy couture is wearing what makes you comfortable and makes you feel great at the same time. What sort of things are a part of your cozy couture wardrobe? Let me know in the comments.
