They say April showers bring May flowers, but today’s look skips the dreary rain and gets right to the bright, fun part of spring. This month, we will be highlighting the mainstays of spring fashion: shorts (Mondays) and denim (Thursdays), while still highlighting some transition wear for the occasional cool day. April is all about looking fresh, like you’ve just emerged from a spring rain (one that doesn’t get you wet, instead you’re all dewy and clean). The stark white and chiffon fabric of the shorts conveys a light and airy feeling, while the floral print on translucent fabric makes it feel like spring is in the air, even if there aren’t actual blooms yet.
By the way, there aren’t a lot of pictures because this is on the old camera, so it’s just hard to get the dpi up. I love this outfit, though, and wanted to make sure it got scheduled.
