Make Your Own Love Potion
Make your own love potion for a magical Valentine’s Day. With three tasty options, there’s a potion for all kinds of love.

Base Potion Ingredients:
4 tamarind pods
½ cup lemon juice
½ cup sugar
Optional: 1-2 c still or sparkling water to lessen juice concentration
Directions:
Peel tamarind pods and place in a bowl or a pot. You can cold infuse your potion by placing the pods in a bowl and letting them soak in 1 cup of water for 2 hours. If you want to speed up your potion, then add lemon juice, sugar, and potion additives of choice to a pot. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Once it boils for a few minutes, remove from heat and let the mixture infuse for 1-2 hours or overnight. Strain the mixture and top with the corresponding cream options. You may also add still or sparkling water to lessen the concentration of the potion.
Rose Gold Love- Potion for True Love
Rose hip symbolizes waiting for true love.
Add 3 TBSP dried rose hip to the base potion ingredients.
Rose Cream
¼ c mascarpone cream
1 tbsp powdered sugar
¼ tsp rose water extract
Gold luster dust
Mix all ingredients together until combined.
Friend-zone-icus- Potion for joy and friendship
Hibiscus symbolizes friendship and joy.
Add 2 TBSP of dried hibiscus to the base potion ingredients.
Vanilla Lime Cream-
¼ c mascarpone
3 tbsp powdered sugar
3 tsp lime juice
1 tsp vanilla
½- 1 tsp lime zest (optional) for dusting and mixing in the cream
Mix all ingredients together until combined.
Spicy Love- Potion for spicing things up
Ginger and chili have heating energies and are sure to make things spicy.
Add 1 inch ginger (washed and sliced) and ¼ -1/2 tsp of chili verde or chili of choice to the base potion ingredients.
Cayanne Cream
½-1 tsp Cayenne pepper
¼ c mascarpone
1 tbsp sugar
Extra cayenne pepper for dusting
Mix all ingredients together until combined.
