Martha’s Vineyard

Posing in the Atlantic ocean at Martha's Vineyard, always uttori, alternate universe, travel

This outfit is a throwback Thursday.  A couple of years ago, I spent the summer in Boston attending a post-graduate summer program. As part of the educational experience, the program offered day trips to different areas on the east coast. This particular trip was to Martha’s Vineyard. After exploring the town, complete with a fresh-caught lobster for lunch, my roommate and I headed to the beach to soak up some sun. Oh wait, I’m one of those rare persons who is allergic to the sun, so I used tons of sunscreen, as we all should no matter what your skin color. Anyway, one of my favorite things about the East Coast is that, in just a few hours, you can be in a completely different environment. I had a lot of fun exploring the colorful colonial style houses and eating fresh lobster. Minnesota might be the land of 10,000 lakes, but nothing says summer like beaches and sunscreen.
