What kind of overalls does Super Mario wear?
Denim, Denim, Denim. . . . It’s a joke. Get it? No? Well, unless you played the Super Mario games like I did . . . for hours at a time . . . you probably wouldn’t. It’s a joke that works better in person anyway. Let’s just move on to the fashion, shall we?
I call this look triple denim because I’m covered from head to toe in the material. It’s not overbearing though. The top is made from a lightweight denim fabric keeping the look from skewing toward heavy. The mix of dark and light on the jeans, as well, as the asymmetric length, lets some skin show. Finally, the darker denim of the shoe pulls the eyes down and acts as a balance to the outfit. The different shades of denim and shorter length of the jeans keeps this all denim look fresh for spring, but also keeps you warm for those cooler April days. I’ve added a touch of classic western styling with this metallic silver belt.
